Dragon Medical One allows users to set their preferred format for dates, times, numbers, measurements, words, and more using “Manage Formatting,” accessible in the “What You Can Say” menu. For example, users can define the format of spoken “December fifth twenty twenty” as December 5, 2020 or 12-5-2020. Watch video |
Users can recite individual letters, numbers, and characters to spell out medical codes, uncommon names, acronyms, special characters, and diacritics. Rather than using the keyboard to type, users say “Spell Out” and then speak characters using standard letter pronunciations or the NATO phonetic alphabet, preceded by “capital” or “uppercase,” as necessary.
