Dragon Medical One Training - Voice Command List

Open What You Can Say in Dragon Medical One to browse voice commands by category, including Correction phrases and alternatives.

Updated 7/29/2026
One of the most useful Dragon Medical One phrases is the help command "what can I say?". When spoken, it opens a window with the voice commands available in your current context. This tutorial assumes you already have Dragon Medical One installed.

How to open What You Can Say

Say "what can I say" with your microphone on to open the command list. You can also open it from the Dragon drop-down menu: click the flame icon, then choose "What You Can Say".

Browse commands by category

If you have used other versions of Dragon, many of these commands will already feel familiar. Commands are grouped by category for easier navigation. The help menu is one of the few parts of Dragon that cannot be navigated by voice. Use your mouse to click through the sections. Once inside a section, click anywhere in that section to return to the previous menu.

Commands with alternative phrases

Some commands have multiple phrases that trigger the same action. In a section, alternatives appear separated by bullets. For example, open the Correction section. The "add that to vocabulary" command also works with phrases such as "add to vocabulary", "add word", "add new word", or "train word".
