The Olympus AS-2400 Transcription is an entry level or “consumer grade transcriber from Olympus. If you are a light typist, this may be an affordable solution for you.
The Olympus AS-2400 transcription kit is their entry level digital transcriber. The As-2400 has many of the features of it’s professional counterparts with some distinct differences:
- Less Robust foot pedal for lighter use
- No encryption / decryption of files
- Cannot automatically receive voice files via e-mail or FTP
- No free installation, training or support
If you are a transcriptionist who types occasionally, such as for a town board or a corporate executive, this is a good quality option that will do the job.

MULTIPLE FORMAT PLAYBACK

Enables foot switch control of the playback process.
TRANSCRIPTION OPTIONS
Transcription can be done by combining the playback sound with the adjustable playback speed, tone control, and noise cancellation.(It is not possible to playback while setting the playback speed and noise cancellation simultaneously with the Macintosh version.)
