COVID-19 Telehealth Program Funding For Dragon Medical One

COVID-19 Telehealth Program Funding For Dragon Medical One

We’ve just received a notification from Nuance that Dragon Medical One is an eligible expense for reimbursement through the COVID-19 Telehealth Program, while funding lasts.

While we have not yet gone through this process with any of our providers, we encourage you to review the program and This Instructional Video which covers the application process. If you decide that you would like to apply for funding, we will provide you with accurate responses to each of the questions for the Purpose and Intent section, cost per physician, and a formal quote that you will upload with your application which outlines the costs.

Prior to filling out the TeleHealth Application, there are a few steps that need to be completed:

  • Obtain an FCC Registration Number (FRN) from the Commission Registration System (CORES), as well as a CORES username and password at that link.  An FRN is a 10-digit number that is assigned to a business or individual registering with the FCC and is used to identify the registrant’s business dealings with the FCC.
  • Obtain an eligibility determination from the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) by filing FCC Form 460 through My Portal on USAC’s webpage.  (Filers do not need to be rural health care providers in order to file Form 460 for this program.)
  • Register with the federal System for Award Management (SAM)

Once all of those steps have been completed you can submit your application for the Covid-19 Telehealth Program here. If you plan to use the funding to buy new Nuance Dragon Medical One licenses and/or Nuance PowerMic III Microphones, please contact us prior to your application. We will provide you with answers to some of the application questions you’ll be asked as well as a quote that you’ll need to submit at the end of the application process.

Our recommendation would be to apply for funding of the 1-year prepaid Dragon Medical One subscription with a physical PowerMic 3 microphone per licensed user.

If you’d like to apply, please contact us with the number of licenses you plan to apply for and whether you’d like to apply for a monthly subscription or a yearly, prepaid subscription.
